Hi Barry, I have tried several methods below but doesn't work. I have already taken three days on solving this problem. Is there any other method to fix the game?
1. Installed Visual C+++ Runtime x64 & Visual C+++ Runtime x86
2. Deleted the "d3dcompiler43.dll" and reinstall DirectX. Download at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
3. Try to install Windows Media Feature Pack but my Windows version is just 10 not 10 N so not relevant.
4. Updated Windows 10 to the latest version
5. Clicked the "repair" button
6. Reinstalled Windows 10 via USB & DVD
7. Reinstalled Windows 8.1 via DVD
8. Updated all device driver to latest version include Nvidia video card.
9. Changed the storage from SDD (M.2) back to HHD
10. Surely, reinstall the game, many times!
I also purchased PVZ: Battle for Neighborville too and it launched normally. PVZ2 is a vital game to me, I'm few to play Video game except PVZ and I have played five years and paid a lot of effort on it. If the problem can't be solved, deleting EA app is the only way I can do. Thank you the fast reply.
