PvZGW2 Party Citron Glitched upgrade

I was playing a round of Garden Ops on Zen Peak with Party Citron hit Lvl 9 advanced the Overheat Upgrade appeared on screen saying I unlocked it, finished the match and went to the customization booth to equip said upgrade and the game never registered that I have unlocked said upgrade which is incredibly bad cause not only is that an important upgrade but an important upgrade on a Legendary Character and this issue has existed for a long time I've completely un-installed and reinstalled the entire game, changed the DNS settings and still did nothing to resolve this issue. I play on Xbox consoles my gamertag is SkyCaboose8055 while my EA profile is SkyCaboose55 please help me finally get this issue resolved
