PVZGW2 update problem

My son is trying to install the capture the taco update, on our Xbox One and it keeps freezing.  We turned it all off and reinstalled the entire PVZGW2, but it still freezes- now at 86.3%, 27.08 of 3...

Sorry to see that you and your son are having issues getting your games installed.

Best thing to do is try the following steps to see if they sort the issues @RighteousPirate.

Clear the Xbox One Cache: 

  1. Press and hold the power button on the front of the Xbox until it turns off completely.
  2. Unplug the power brick from the back of the Xbox. Press and hold the power button on the Xbox several times to expel any remaining power and clear the cache.
  3. Plug in the power brick.
  4. Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.  
  5. Turn the Xbox back on as you would normally.

We've tried to steps you mentioned.  Update is still stalled.  We have also reinstalled the entire game and it stalled at 86%.  

With 30GB free, will clearing local saved games help, or just cause problems?
