That's why I ask everyone else playing in the match to report the cheater too. If you get 6-7 people all reporting the same player, then yeah they will get banned. And not just from PvZ but risk their whole account being suspended.
A couple of weeks ago, I was in a PvZ2 match and out of no where another player sent me a message calling me a very disgusting word. I reported them, and 3 days later MS thanked me for the report and informed me this person was banned. So reporting does work!

1 microsoft is the one who banned the player not popcap
2 if he didnt send you a message and thus not report said message he would not have gotten banned cause he was banned for the message he sent not the * he did in game
and 3 this glitch has been in the game since launch i find it funny that people are only NOW demanding it to be fixed but i expect nothing less from the gw comunnity at this point lol you all are STILL not demanding them to fix the lag issues when people level up or any other bs thats going on in the game currently :P but im sure in a few months when the lag makes the game nearly unplayable (like its not already) THEN you all well be here demanding fixes lol
I haven't done this myself, I had a friend do this against me in my back garden though, Chomper vs Chomper is quite an intense battle! 😉
Players are doing this for fun most likely, and the more who do it, the more players will complain and the chances of it being fixed becomes higher.
I agree, they do a very good job at listening to the community on things though.

lmfao thats a big maybe but i know they sure as * dont fix a * thing unless its been at least 6 months since the issues were discovered by the community XD case in point popcap wont fix the level up lag till the game is ABSOLUTELY unplayable and there player base begins to crash hard again :P

As long as they're getting banned, I don't care who's doing it, Popcap or MS. In fact, if it's MS they're going to get banned from XBL all together not just one game. Don't you think losing you whole account is worse that just one game banning you? It will def. discourage others from doing this cheat when word spreads cheaters are losing their accounts.
Yes, MS takes notice of people cheating in games, not just messages. And you can submit clips of the cheating too if you want.
The glitch may have always been there, but no one was really using until now. And so now, these companies will have to act, if it causes massive reporting of it.
And maybe don't act like you're the only one reporting or caring on issues. We're all part of this community, and we have been working to make it better. And you can't tell me it isn't from when the game first launched.
What blows my mind is that EA mods clearly read this forum, heck there's a thread with a reply from EA Andy right next to this one. Yet there is absolute silence on their part on any of these various active threads on this topic. There are now several current threads on this topic on the reddit sub as well.

I agree. One of the Mods needs to tell us Popcap is working on this because I've had enough! I literally was in 4 games in a row where some A-hole was pulling this stuff. All I do now is report on cheaters and then quit the game only to go into a new game where it starts all over again. I'm not enjoying the game AT ALL right now! It needs to S-T-O-P!!!
Seriously, Popcap you're going to end up with nothing but a bunch of losers playing this game because they will have driven away what's left of the real players. And once the losers have no one they can mess with, they will get bored and leave too. Meaning you will have NO ONE playing this game anymore!
