This is a good thing, reason? When we get these legendary characters, it's going to be significantly more fulfilling and pleasurable knowing you're one of the very few that has that character. They don't feel very low for me, I've gotten two legendary character pieces from the sticker shop packs for a few different characters. I enjoy the 'grind.'

- That could be why you feel that way, you have gotten some legendary characters pieces while others (including myself) have been grinding with nothing but cosmetics to show.
Don't get me wrong I love PvZ overall but the added grind wasn't needed. I was excited when I unlocked Cosmic SuperBrainz, it took a while but I was happy. The best thing about it is I knew that it would come because I could by the 75K Pack (guaranteed character). With these legendary characters I have no idea. I could unlock all the customizations before I get the drop from RNG lol. Maybe they added this type of thing because they were scared people would stop if they unlocked everything too fast.
Another quick question, are the other abilities for the characters in these packs as well or are they not available yet? i kinda felt the same 5 million coins spent 2 legendary hats.... thats it....
i would have hoped for something more than that, its just become another FUT clone from FIFA16 where you spend spend spend and get nothing but trash
I can see me playing this game almost every night as its the only game the wife and I play so for us we will eventually get all the characters its just a matter of time and luck, but if its anything like GW1 you know you will get them eventually.

For others who have not been so lucky it's not so fun. I'm now up to 5 million coins spent, nothing so far. Whats to say I'll have anything after another 5 million? Do you even know what a monumental monstrous grind it is go amass 5 million coins in this game. All you get is a lot of silver/gold/diamond/gem variants of the same * you already unlocked.
As I mentioned in the OP I started recording all my sticker purchases. Since I've made the OP i spent about 1.7 more million. Bough exactly 34 35k packs and 33 15k packs with nothing to show for it. Nothing!
Sure you like the grind since you're lucking out and getting the jackpot with those 0.1% legendary drops...

and thats why i dont play FUT16, not to mention that technically you don't need a decent team on it, just a prayer to the scripting gods and you'll get a shifty 90+5 minute headed goal.
I think its fair considering you can get some out of infinity mode. In fact, its more than generous considering you can get them from 15k packs at a chance.
Needs to be left just the way it is.
The infinity ones are a special case, easy to get and basically just re skins of the original variants with a party time trigger. This thread is not about the "legendary" Party variants. Just drops from sticker packs.
Saving up for another run. At 300k at the moment. 5,2 million total spent so far and still nada...
They probably did that on purpose so that you have to either do the infinity runs or drop a bunch of money into there game to keep it going so that it takes you awhile to achieve all the characters. You would need to do numerous quests first to obtain stars to do the infinity runs at 5 stars a run and then maybe about 45min-1hr each run or spend hundreds of dollars/numerous multiplayer/garden ops runs to open packs your choice guess that is why they a legendaries.
Yea Legendaries are rare for the sake of being rare and unlike everything else in the game you cannot increase your chances of getting them by getting things off the pack table, the odds stay the same no matter what. You could spend well over 10 million coins and not get a single Legendary.
- I've spent 4 million coins so far and have had zero legendary pieces. I suck at infinity time, so those chars aren't even obtainable for me.
So I've now spent more then 6 million coins on 15k and 35k packs and got 1 legendary character sticker!
At this rate ill need to spend 48 million coins to get them all!!!! LOL!!!

Since I've unlocked everything else of note including every other character variant and don't really feel like grinding 42 million more coins I'm pretty much done with this game. Some gamers, including me, needs to have some sense of progression to keep playing. For me that progression hit a giant insurmountable wall of RNGs in the 0.1% ranges and I just don't wanna play that kind of lottery. I want to feel like I'm on the track to something, not just hoping for all the planets to align and gods of fortune to sprinkle me with rainbows.
Whenever you see someone with a legendary character (not the party variants from the infinite grind mode) you see a very very lucky player. Because that is the only way to get them. You need to win the lottery. Time and effort invested don't mean * in this game.
