Rose - Arcane engima duration should get nerfed. along with its cooldown.
Corn - Health buffed back to 150, slight damage increase at the cost of slower fire rate
Soldier - Rapid fire and sticky stinkc cloud upgrade costs increase
Snapdragon - flame blower ranged nerfed. blue blazes damage reduced so it doesnt oneshot everything.
SB - health buff. maybe a walkspeed buff.
Chomper - walkspeed buff. slobber shot fire rate nerfed.
Citron - fire rate buff. hopefully something to do with naval laser being reworked (buffed or deleted)
Allstar - increase overheat duration. decrease the time it takes to overheat football cannon (shoots for shorter periods of time, with longer breakes inbetween). Health of the dummy inside the dummy shield buffed ever so slightly.
Cactus + deadbeard - Health reverted back to 125
acorn - hardened nerfed to +25 hp OR hardened cost is increased.
sunflower - hp reverted back to 110. heals are nerfed.
Scientist - warp nerfed. fire rate buffed.

Filler upgrades to be buffed, reworked, replaced or deleted: bowling, peachy, speedy, refreshing revive, vampiric, ready up, cornucopia, molasses, slap back, rewind, mirage, fallback, bon voyage, alacrity, sustenance, shadow tribute, uppercut, shockwave, bottomless, liftoff, arm day, energise, typhoon, recuperate, hero's moment, track star, malfunction, photosynthesis, explosive gatling, last ditch, vampire spikeweed, symbiosis, dirt bath, mastication, stuffy sundrop, shove, recharge.

    There are some characters that need way more balancing than some others, but the two big abilities that I suppose should be looked at are:

    • The Rocket Ride for 80s Action Hero
    • The Arcane Enigma for Rose.

    For the Rocket Ride, even the splash damage is extremely high. You can destroy all the small characters and Oak really quickly and its activation time is very low. Think of this ability as Pea Gatling or Husk Hop 2.0. Even if the direct damage stayed the same but the splash got reduced, it should make a large difference.

    For the Arcane Enigma, it can be activated extremely quickly with low delay. If enigma lasts longer than it does now, it wouldn't make the ability more broken particularly BUT they should increase the cooldown of it and have a longer delay before the ability resolves.

    Soldier's damage should NOT be buffed, in my opinion.   He's my go to character if I wanna go on a fragging spree.  I would love for him to do more damage but I know he should be one of the last characters to get a buff to their primary.

    @TheSprinter85Arcane getting a nerf is a good start for reducing roses presence, however in my opinion that's not enough. Even if you added a windup to it, most would still use it to be very selfish and barely ever used for your team. However you can do a broken strategy with arcane mainly in turf takeover which is
    1. Use arcane to boost your teammates.
    2. Respawn.
    3. Go back to your team and make it so they can constantly play aggressively.
    I'd say arcane should be hit with these nerfs.
    1. it's cooldown should persist between lives.
    2. it now has a windup of 1 second when activating it.
    3. you don't get the speed boost unless your near teammates
    and 4. (this may be too harsh on it, but honestly I would like to question why this exists in the first place(also this and the windup nerf counts with outta fight). It can no longer contest objectives.

    Just toss entire game in the trash can I reckon. I mean aim assist patch did near to nothing, team balance patch did sweet f a,  pretty clear EA don't give a * about popcap or this game.

    Xmas boosted amount of players in Australia ps4 for awhile but due to lack of fixes and updates those numbers are dwindling fast, never been able to play arena, even weekly event is dead after day or two. 

    So, yea just nerf the game into the trash can and start again and make GW3, shame a better company didn't buy popcap. 

  • Trello is updated: Tuning character hitboxes is the only thing listed. But detailed informations regarding character balancing were never put on Trello anyway.

  • @The4DAdvocate  I've got to agree with Enigma and what you just said. If they also increased the cooldown to 30 or 35 seconds, similar to GW2, then it would make it even less overpowered, as timing is more crucial for when it should be activated. 👍
