Re: Bring the Classic PvZ feel back to Garden Warfare!
I completely agree. It's nice to find someone else that appreciates the amazing atmosphere the first Garden Warfare had. The fact that GW2 almost entirely got rid of the charm the original had has been and still is my biggest criticism of the game.
Might as well be called Garden Wacky 2 due to it's overly cartoony art direction. Even the customizations are almost all goofy/weird rather than the original Garden Warfare's more realistic, grounded customizations, for the most part.
I'd love for PopCap to return to the amazing suburban paradise atmosphere the original GW got so right. They had something incredible, and chose to mostly throw it away for a goofier, sillier look for the maps (and even characters) of GW2.
It's unfortunate, really, that Garden Wacky 2 ended up being the sequel to my (and I'm sure many others') favorite game of 2014. (And one of my all-time favorites).
