Re: Crazy Target range Times

That's true, it is obviously some sort of hack/exploit. The same goes for the Infinity Gnome leaderboards where everything above 45 is suspicious.

It amazes me that EA/Popcap don't take any action regarding these issues, while having the most reliable evidence.

I'm glad I don't care about personal leaderboard fame.

I S ranked, I got my prize, I'm happy I never have to return to the target range again...but I do want to see how someone managed to cut the glitch time down to less than 3.5 for entertainment purposes.

My best time is 18 seconds, with the almighty Toxic Pea. It was gotten legitimately, but I would like to see this glitch/exploit anyway. I can't really imagine anything other than throwing a chili bean bomb through the wall.

  • I did see a video on you tube of somebody doing it in about 11 secs using the toxic pea. That was clear to see, nothing suspicious going on. But anything much under 10 seconds has got to hacked in someway.

I'm playing on XB1 and last time I saw the leader board the quickest was about 6.5 seconds I would love to see that being done!! I can understand hacking on the PC version but in what way could you hack it on the XB1, unless the leader board is universal across all platforms.

There are bugs and exploits with it.

For one, the timer on PC is affected by FPS (probably not a big issue on console) and simply does not time correctly.

I've reported this bug in the first days of release and they are investigating:

http://answers.ea.com/t5/Bugs-Issues/Crazy-Targets-Time-affected-by-FPS-A-lot-Gamebreaking-Bug/m-p/5184971#U5184971 (includes a video with a legit 11 second run)

(in short: if your system runs at 90 FPS, the timer counts 45 seconds for a real life minute, while 75 FPS does around 70-71 seconds and 60 FPS does 56-57 seconds)

There is also a chilly bean bomb exploit:

And for the 2-3 second runs, probably another exploit or just straight up wall-hacking.

  • well under 10 sec times are legit i myself have 9:49 time with toxic pea WITHOUT exploit  of chilli also u can get around 11 seconds with mot characters on xbox1 i own the world record for superbrains with i think was like 11:32 but times in the 8 seconds aren't legit ea and pop cat has thankfully fixed most console issue with times but torchwood is still broken hope this helps u a bit
