@Pheesley Yes, camera positioning really doesn't help. This was an issue discussed a lot in the early days - the fact that there's enough room for another player to come up behind you & block your view while you're stationary in gatling or something for example, is just ridiculous.
On top of that though, I think this is just one of those hats in the style of many legendary hats, where it has to be tall / large enough to fit in all the detail & people have to decide for themselves whether it's worth sacrificing a bit of your view.
