However, if you enjoy the series, and you are okay with mobile games, there is a PvZ 3 mobile version that is currently underway!

Community Manager@MrBrees So personally speaking no. I have asked and being that there just isn't a team for any longer, there would have to be the original team again, or a brand new team for PvZ in order for that to happen.
There are so many players who want it though. There is a demand but currently, there isn't much on that at all.

Unfortunately the shooters remaining dead is more likely than a new team being banded to make a new PvZ shooter game. It's not completely impossible that it could happen, but it is very, very unlikely. It seems like from now on EA/PopCap is more focused on making mobile games for PvZ, i'm not even sure if we're getting a PvZ game that isn't mobile exclusive again.
Community Manager@Shadow_of_guilt To be honest there is no info on that one that I have seen at all. A lot of focus is mobile-based at the moment. It is possible that a new team could pop up later on down the line, but as of now there is not.

Community Manager@VariableCell There is still a massive following for the game. I wish there were more with HD titles but their focus is now leaning towards the mobile side with PvZ 3.
