Re: DR Zomboss Suggestion

That seems to be a very old screenshot, considering how it has alot of inconsistencies to what is currently released. The Bottom left icon of Crazy Dave's camper seems to suggest he's flying Crazy Dave's Camper; most likely used as a placeholder.

It doesn't even have the alley way path that was added in the recent DLC.

Yeah, this was pre-launch I took the picture from the Boss mode trailer they posted ages ago.

I sent a tweet to one of the developers and he told me that it was removed from the game because it wasn't as fun as it needed to be.

The Boss mode trailer says Dr. Zomboss can "release huge waves of zombies" and there's even a fifth ability icon that's not in-game.

Don't know what you're getting at...? 

From that screenshot, it appears that summoning zombies is pretty redundant considering the players can already do that. At a cost of 75 brains, Dr. Zomboss wouldn't be summoning any significant zombies... probably a bucket head at best. 

What I was talking about was in response to someone else saying Gargantuar and Yeti be rare summon stickers. I was saying that would be too OP because a team could potentially have them stockpiled and overwhelm the plants. The only way to reduce the frequency at which they appear and to make it fair, would be to tie them in as a Boss Mode option for a high amount of brains. That way plants will only see one per objective at most.

I was just saying, at some point the ability to summon zombies via boss mode was a reality but it was removed. So the liklihood of summoning anything that way was highly unlikely.

I'd say if they made huge dirt pile ever so often that took maybe half the team at once to summon, making some of the lone wolf zombie players actually work together for once or was like some kind of counter objective for the plants to stop it would be cool. Give the plants warning that the zombies are trying to summon a special zombie and they have a certain time to get to the objective and stop it or stay at the garden and try to defend against the attack. Just an idea though, I'm no game designer. :P

^ thats actually a good idea but regardless they need to be added into G&G and it would be epic. Just seems like such a waste to have all the resources built and its only in Garden Ops and not the main gameplay mode G&G. As for the Disco Zombie being a new class I don't think thats a good idea. The Football player is basically the artilary build so it would be redundant. They should be summoned and if it were only in boss mode they should cost 1000 which would give incentive to shoot down Dr Zomboss more often as he and Crazy Dave are often overlooked.
As for that screen shot it looks like he just summoned a tombstone which really wouldn't do much as they are always browncoats and generally cannon fodder.
