Re: EA, PLEASE READ. DON'T KILL THE GAME.
@stukapooka I just now saw your post and added to it! I somehow missed it.
It's sad that we get so little communication from PopCap these days as it's not a good look for a beloved franchise. PvZ2 needs to stop with all the premium plants and other issues that hurt it, I quit playing it awhile back despite enjoying it a lot. We have all 3 shooters still playable which I do appreciate, but no updates, no patches, not dealing with cheaters well, not giving us decent mystery portals, new players can't get some achievements done, and no news on a new game is a terrible situation. And then we have Heroes that could use some love, along with PvZ3 still in limbo.
People want to play these games and as @pilrpq7unx3c pointed out, if EA would stop just releasing stuff without solid support to make a quick buck, and give it better support and attention, they could actually make more money and also get some goodwill with the fanbase. People love PvZ (it's why I'm still here), and the shooters did very well, even if BfN didn't do anywhere near as well as the GW games. Right now, we have to assume that we are not getting a new shooter anytime soon (if we are, communicate that to us!), and with so many people still playing, and lots of new folks thanks to GW2 going up on Steam, the least we can expect is for people to be able to get the stuff they missed (achievements, hats, legendary bots/pots, etc.) in GW2 since that game's achievements rely on portals and community events, and GW2 is the most popular of all 3. Even if we get a new game out of the blue (unlikely as that is), the current players need solid signs of support for the games we have, still love, still play, and can still pay for!
