You, or someone, needs to gather them up for the team to get credit for them. If you don't they'll sit there for a while and then just disappear.

If you are playing with AI teammates, they cannot pick up the loot; it has to be a player.

    Thanks.  I knew that about the AI.  But I thought that perhaps they auto-collected like the shards in IT.  I was wondering if it was a waste of time to try to return to the garden each wave.

    @RealHoverCraft Good question.  I don’t know the exact science behind it.  But I will say when you get an enchanted garden, keep playing.  I have gotten up to 5 in a row by continuously playing.
