A total of 251 Plant cards and 252 Zombie cards, leading to a grand total of 503 cards in the game at time of writing (not including noncollectable Token cards).
This has actually been interesting to find out myself, as I expected the numbers to be at least a little more consistent, especially in the Premium/Basic sets.
