Oh yeah and the final battery stealing stage, only the plants seem to win that. Out of dozens of games, I've never even seen the zombies winning that stage.

We won the batteries as zombies once but I was an all-star and hung out around them the entire time, plants still stole 3 or 4 batteries though. It could use an adjustment as that was a rare zombie win.
The drill is a bit rough too. I love the concept that it has a weak point that moves around and the plates also move to protect it but maybe less health would help.
