I'm now able to select Berry/Plasma Pea without issue.

I am still having this issue, after it's been redownloaded/reinstalled, it still freezes, but this time I was just scrolling through different peashooter variations, (berry, plasma, toxic, etc.), it froze and just force quit the game again. And it just happens at random. So there are times I can play through using the plasma pea shooter with success, but sometimes it will just freeze once I am at the point of selecting a new character.
Odd, it should be fixed, the issue before was scrolling on or past the Berry Pea. Avoiding highlighting the Berry Pea would usually prevent the freeze.
This is Xbox One correct? What game mode are you playing?
If you scroll left from default, are you able to select Plasma without a freeze?
Have you tried rebooting the console?
Are you able to get a video of what you do to get the freeze? It only happens on character select screen correct?
What region are you in?
