Re: Game is currently unplayable; Zombies overbuffed and make too many coins win or loss.

The buff to the Scientist's gun has made him a spammed pick. Doesn't play like a support class anymore, and instead plays as a front-line fighter who can close distance too quickly and kill too fast. He has ridiculously overpowered variants.

All-Stars are now a problem since Imp Punt isn't useless anymore.

Soldier is just flat out too strong. Too much health for a walking Gattling Pea.

Engineer is annoying but manageable. It's frustrating that he doesn't have to aim at all but all in all I think he is okay. I dunno, he may be overpowered. It's hard to tell amongst the power level of the other three classes.

Oh look... another thread crying about balance. When plants win the game is over faster hence less coins for less time spent evens out, it would be nice if they got a bit more yes and the devs have said they are aware of that. But to say that the zombies are OP is ridiculous because i WRECK the zombies and lead the top of the charts every single game as a cactus. Soliders have low health so idk what you are talking about i snipe them dead in 2 shots to the body. All star imps were NEVER useless!! Engineer doesn't have to aim? LOL! Okay then neither do peashooters how's that?

I can't even believe you place the chomper above both the Sunflower AND the Cactus... look man, if you can't play those classes that's on you! Don't try to tell people they are useless because i play the cactus like a boss and i've seen Sunflowers top the charts several times! They heal extremely well and dish out some very nice damage with variants.

Also this nonsense about plants being outnumberd is false. There might be ONE MORE zombie than plants but i almost never see that. People try to switch to zombies but zombies can only have ONE MORE than the plants unless plants quit! People like zombies because they like the bigger payout for the longer amount of time but it EVENS OUT when plants stop the zombies quickly, try to understand that. Lets say it takes 30 minutes for zombies to win and they average 12-15k coins, if the plants win on the first garden they average around 4-8k coins in 10 or so minutes (rough estimates) that's why they don't make a ton. It's all about COINS PER MINUTE. While it would be nice to see a coin increase for plants, truly it's just people seeing bigger numbers for longer play sessions, it only sucks when you play a plant and the game drags because it takes forever for the zombies to capture the gardens but they still win, that's the worst case scenario for a plant BUT, if you are doing good during that long and drug out battle you SHOULD clear 7-8k easy!

I've noticed that you've taken it upon yourself to be the voice of "the game is already balanced"? What's your deal? You work for PopCap? EA?

The game is NOT balanced. It needs tweaking. Zombies are overpowered and Plants need to be even out (Gardens & Warfare. Whether you agree or not, who gives a **bleep**. Obviously, you have some agenda. It is VERY obvious when 9/10 people much rather play as Zombies than as Plants (payout is larger for Zombies).

I agree, the game isn't balanced. Very rarely do I see the plants win in G&G, and that's the only game mode I love to play. I usually play as the Peashooter, and pretty much, it's impossible for me to land a hit sometimes. Yeah sure, splash damage and what not, but it doesn't work like that, the speed of shots are slow and I always miss unless the enemy zombie is rushing at me - and I end up dying anyway. I've found myself using a Peashooter as support and a offensive at the same. Three games in a row I got the revival award (apologies for the lingo my mind is vague right now) because nobody else bothered, everybody else was trying to attack and getting killed anyway.

Foot Soldiers deal damage in fast and accurate intervals. Scientists score vanquishes in a few shots with their weapons. Engineers not so much, but if you use the character's abilities, even for the first time, you can rack up kills again and again, with the drones and using the Jackhammer. All-Stars? I've gotten more than enough one-shot kills from them.

Let me look at the plants for a moment. Peashooter's best attacking power is Gatling, yet it makes them extremely vulnerable. I've found, despite the radius, the chili bomb almost always misses or rolls a little too far away. Chomper doesn't get too bad, but Melee range means they can be shot from a mile away and killed. Even burrowing can be blocked by a Soldier with a jet pack and an Engineer's stun attack. Sunflowers, despite being used for support, I feel aren't used enough - or are used too much for assault. I'm serious, I don't think I ever get healed that much by one nor revived. Yet I see Scientists spammed on the map. Cactus I've used more frequently than Sunflower and Chomper, but I struggle with her. You need good cover, and not just a Wall-nut. By now, most players know where a Cactus camps on the map and knows to send a couple of ZPGs their way, or sneak up behind.

As for the coins? Yeah. They get too much. Zombies get 100 coins for capturing a Garden but I'm sure plants get none for staying inside the garden zone, which is why I feel like I've been last man standing a few times.

Potted plants? Really, really weak. I'm not joking. Heal Flowers are one thing if they're not left in a bad spot, but even the common Repeater is gone in a moment. I've started to rely on 'shrooms as my potted brothers, but most of them don't have much power - except for the Doom-Shroom of course. Zombies, however... I am so sick of Coffin Zombies. Even if you use like, 30 shots to take them down, they then rush at you without their armour and get a cheap kill. Get one of those into a base though? Plants are done for. Even a damn chili bomb won't get him out of there. More and more you spawn em, there's forty zombies to maybe a couple of plants in the garden.

That's my take on it. I suppose it's the same reason I suck at the original PVZ.

Oh, and I can't aim for **bleep** with the Engineer btw. I'm awful as a painter, lmao. I barely ever hit and if I do, I'm sniping.

Have no idea why would people want to join zombies side for coins...Coins get useless after getting what you want or even all of the stickerbook stuff. No need to rush to get it...

Only reason why people play as zombies because it levels players up quicker. Plants don't have much challenges to complete in mulitiplayer as much as zombies do, so a vass majority of them go to Garden Ops to complete some~half of the plants objectives such as vanquish 50 zombies in one game or kill so and so summoned zombies in one game. Summoned zombies count as the zombies in Garden Ops case you didn't know.
