The name plates are rewards for leveling a character to 10 and then promoting them in the treehouse/mansion. When you level a character variant to 10, take them to their bobblehead and promote them for the name plates. Each plate has a different title.
Bronze = Promotion 1 = Specialist
Silver = Promotion 2 = Advanced
Gold = Promotion 3 = Elite
Gems = Promotion 4 = Super Elite
Diamond = Promotion 5 (Max Rank) = Master
