Re: [PC] PVZ BFN Maxed Out Characters

Hey everyone. Someone bricked my PvZ: BfN account on PC, resetting all my character's ranks to recruit and making me unable to see other players' names. However, I still seem to be able to join online matches, but earning any kind of exp causes the character level in question to actually "properly" reset and reflect on my overall profile level.

I haven't seen reports of a similar occurence as of yet, so I appeal to you all here for a soloution. Does anyone know a way to have this fixed, such as calling out to EA at the appropiate venue? Thank you in advance.

(Alternatively, does the unban waves apply to BfN as well?)

Update: It appears that my characters levels and ranks reset to Recruit level 10 every time I start up the game. I still have access to all my upgrades as long as I don't attempt to promote said character(s), but they do nevertheless instantly ""level up"" from recruit 1 to 10 every time I gain any instance of XP after every reboot.

@Theonze Unfortunately, there is no guaranteed way to fix your account if it has been bricked by the exploit. However, you can try some of these possible solutions:

Reinstall the game. Some players have reported that reinstalling the game may fix the issue, but this is not confirmed.
Change your username. Another possible workaround is to change your username on Origin or Steam, depending on where you bought the game. This may prevent the cheaters from targeting your account again.
Play on a different platform. If you have access to a console version of the game, you can try playing on that instead of PC. The exploit does not seem to affect console players, so you may be able to enjoy the game without worrying about being banned.
Wait for a patch. The developers are aware of the exploit and are working on a fix. They have not given a specific date for when the patch will be released, but they have assured the players that they are taking the issue seriously. I have similar problem, my Bfn cannot login and only stays in this page and then goes back to the start page.
