The same problem?
Physx isn't even used in Frostbite engine as far as I'm aware. If it was... what physx does is move CPU calculation to the GPU, which could I suppose hurt your FrameRate if the GPU is the bottleneck to begin with. The impact would be very small... but this game I'm 99.9% sure doesn't support Physx and never will.
SLI means you have either 2+ cards or a single card with a double GPU on it. You would probably know if you had such a system because of the cost alone. Then again I don't understand how someone can have a 295x2 or Titan variant yet not know what they have (seen it before)... bizarre world I guess.
You do not want to use SLI right now until the patch drops that optimizes it. It causes stuttering and the frame rate to tank.
Sure you can disable Physx... I don't think it'll do anything but there is no problems disabling it.
Need more info about what is happening from you specifically.. Are you running in Borderless instead of Fullscreen? I've noticed that has a bit of odd stutter (even though FPS is solid) on some systems (specifically nVidia).

what is your system?
Have a look here:
Make a new thread called "Low FPS" or something... give as many details as you can. Most importantly your Graphics Card.
There might be something we can do to help unless it's really old and low end for it's time even.
