Re: Players who rage quit.

Please don't name and shame. Especially for something as trivial as rage quitting. It has zero effect. Them staying and letting animations play out, or the ten seconds for the lost connection are about the same. You still get the win.

Besides. Sometimes quitting is warranted. If theyre going to be a troll and let their time run out every turn, and i know they're going to win that round. Ill leave. Why wait around for the timer and give atroll the satisfaction of the animation?

Dall said it best. This thread adds nothing to the game's experience. take the free win and move on.

  • "Them staying and letting animations play out"

Animations don't play out when you hit the concede button. 😒

Oh my goodness, they don't?! Lol

Look the point is, there are 3 options.

Let they have play out. Concede. Quit.

    Conceding is fastest, then quitting.

If they're so bad they don't want another round. Quitting is fastest for them.

The other thing to remember... this is a mobile only game. You can't use the excuse of, "don't play if you can't finish" when signal matters.

It's not a burden and you still get credit for a win, they still get a loss. So really, where's the harm?

I usually quit if I don't play another game, conceding is annoying and takes much longer.

    I'll say again;

Force quitting and restarting the app on an iphone is a much much much much faster way of getting a new game than conceding.

    End of story.

We get that, grinning... but believe it or not, iphone isn't the majority anymore, by far. On android it's faster to concede. I still agree with your sentiment n though. There's no reason to punish quitters
  • My issue against the rage quitters is that they often interfere with my achieving a quest.  When quests are your only route to free gems, it's annoying to have to play one more game just to get a few more life points or play big plants/zombies.

@AphidOfDeath on that note, conceding is no different, though. It's still before you do that damage or play those cards.
  • @daalnnii - Ha! lulz on me.  Still, it's just more annoying when I have to wait.  It may be faster for my opponent to intentionally exit sans in-game controls, but I have to wait.  That sounds a bit rude to me.

@AphidOfDeath lol yeah, it is a bit... but you can't fix stupid or a$$hole; especially on the interwebz lol

At least the only real detriment is waiting a fee seconds in this game.

So I'm guessing no one knows where it talks against libeling in the rules? All I want is for someone to post the reference so I can abide by the rules. If not, then I'm not breaking any rules by posting pictures of player's names.

Btw, these are only taken at the very last moment when I would normally win the game. No need for an explanation here. These were force shut down of the app.

  • i like the smug tone you took while breaking the easily found rules, though. Good effort.

Next time try not being rude (or demeaning the entire forum community) in the first place. Naming and shaming has been against the rules of every gaming forum for about ten years now.

Also, its not our responsibility to make sure you have read the rules we're quoting. You see that magnifying glass icon? Try it out sometime.
