Would prefer if they balance the current one as half of them are useless but why not.
Adding new abilities for the original classes would definitely make them feel fresh. Considering that this is a new game the old classes should have optional ability variants that would make them feel new again.

the majority of characters have 2 variants of there abilities. only rose and dead beard have one ability super brainz and corneal corn have one ability to choose one of 2 the imp and citron have there own passives and chomper and the scientist have one ability to choose one of 3 like they had in gw1 with their cheeto sponsor characters,
rose is a hard one to balance for a second tier only thing i can think off is she can give a short speed boost for the plants as a alternative for the slow spell.
dead beard is the same and people moan about the parrot saying 20hp is soo op but the thing is the engineer class sacrificed the drones for it from gw1 as where the cactus has the choice of 2 drones
id love to see corneal corn have a mortar ability like the flying imp punt for a change of his buster and super brains could do a grabing wrestling move instead of his kick or turbo twister
The only ones I find useless really are Rainbow beam since it is literally a a reskin, armor health station, sticky bombs (borderlines), sprint burrow, iron maiden (borderlines), and Super Pea Jump. I do feel Multi Zpg and Multi Ultra Ball could use a slight damage buff though.
- Since the new classes don't have alt skills yet, they should get it first, but I agree that the old classes need new skills, too.
Preferably something that is not just a minor alteration of their current skills. Using a currently existing example, something like how the Scientist's heal can be either a beam or a station. - Anonymous10 years agoIron maiden!? Are you kidding!? They are very efficient at blocking ultra balls, zpgs, and imp punts. You literally take zero damage if you use them correctly.
