Can't say for the other guy, but for me, yes I have the latest AMD beta drivers installed as of 2/4/16. I'm not at home so I can't post a dxdiag.
Was it a clean installation?
I don't have the game yet, but I can test it on an R9 390 once I do.
Yes, used driver sweeper (whatever the new 3dguru app is for cleaning out display drivers) in January before installing my r9 380 and the subsequent driver software. Have had 0 problems on other games since switching to this GPU.
Two more people on Fury X's reported this issue! This needs attention so we can properly play the game! They are on 16.1 version of the drivers, and I am on 16.2 - so its not a problem with the beta drivers!
Fury X here and same issue It is the AI chracters and playing with friends on garden ops that seem to do it. sounds like alot of people ahve got this problem

If this is a driver issue I would recommend going to http://support.amd.com/en-us/download and use the report form there to report the bug to AMD.
Submitted the AMD forum post now.
I find it amazing how things like this can be in the game on launch. you would think things like this would be covered.
I disagree. This seems to affect a very small amount of high-end AMD cards, so I can't say its surprising its in the game. It's also probably AMD's issue and not EA's.

I just launched the game for the first time on the AMD Radeon R9 390 with Crimson driver 16.1.
I haven't experienced any of the graphical glitches described in this thread.
Would you not think that testing on high end cards from both AMD and Nvida would be a thing to do then?
Makes me think it is the R9 380 and Fury cards that are solely affected, then. You tried to do a garden ops with allies, right?
you need to try Garden ops with AI characters to see the glitch
This question is NOT solved. Why in the world has it been marked as so? Me submitting a ticket on the AMD forums does not warrant this being solved, unless an EA Dev says this is CERTAINLY an AMD problem.
Big_Mender please click 'i have the same question' on my thread.

I agree, there's no solution yet so I unmarked it. If any of the CMs think I'm out of line, they can let me know, but in my experience fewer people will contribute to a thread once it has been 'solved', so it's better to keep that label off for now.
I haven't played much this week due to illness, but I'll try to sneak in a garden ops this evening to see if I have the same symptoms. - ApprovedAnonymous10 years ago

Latest 1,5 GB patch not solved this problem....
It's probably an issue with AMD's drivers.
All is fine until you summon an AI player in Garden/Graveyard Ops.
You can play the match alone, and it will not happen. Only when you summon an AI player to help you.
MSI R9 380 here
- xariann10 years agoRising TravelerApparently this has happened to Nvidia users too. However the number of people with this problem who are using R9s in this thread is worrying.

Same issue here as well - i7-6700k, 16gb DDR4, Fury X. I did a clean driver install after DDU, newest 16.2 Crimson drivers. DxDiag attached.

I don`t really think that it is a driver issue. Another thing I`ve seen: Origin has updated the full- and the trial version of the game. Both are installed as I can also see in the game folder. My girlfriend who also has the game but without this bug only has the game itself without the trial version installed. Maybe this could be another problem? I have the feeling that EA is not really interested in solving our bug here though. Maybe somebody else will find a final solution as I found a temporal fix.

Thanks for posting DxDiags. If you have this issue and haven't posted a DxDiag, please do. More info is helpful.
Common thread I'm personally seeing is that it's happening to the R9 380 and R9 Fury cards. Diags have been passed along and the issue is being investigated.
Just a heads up,
I managed to get the green and purple fog to go away with the 16.3 Crimson drivers.
First, I ran the Display Driver Uninstaller utility from Guru3D.
http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Might as well grab the drivers while you're doing that, too:
Extract, run, reboot into safe mode, uninstall drivers, reboot again, install 16.3 drivers, reboot a 3rd time after installation, and viola, it was gone.
I summoned 3 AI players and planted the garden in a Garden Ops match, which is where the green/purple fog would appear whenever I would summon an AI player. Oddly, the fog would only appear whenever the character was in my view.I don't know if it matters, but I did overclock the card right away from 980 to 1100 GPU, and memory from 1425 to 1500.
