@iluminatethesky i fixed it by using borderless window mode. also i use bluetooth headphones.

Glad to hear you were able to resolve this issue.

However, have you tried updating the Drivers for your headphones, and your Audio Drivers in Windows?

Hey @YourPalTrippy if it works in borderless window mode then can you go ahead and relaunch the game and when the game is running navigate to your Taskbar in the bottom right of your screen and right-click on the Speaker icon and open sound settings.

From here navigate to Advanced Sound Options and then select Open Sound Settings.

Look for the Output and Input option and find the game in the list of running applications.

 

You can now assign the audio device you use to the game.

Once selected try the game again normally to see if the issue is fixed.
