Re: Scientist Character Challenge Guide

The character challenges for Scientist are as follows:

Get 5,000 XP as Scientist.

Use the “Levelling Up” Upgrade if you would like to get this challenge faster. Just note that it does not increase the amount of prize bulb through regular XP income! To get this challenge, simply play the game. Skirmishes and Ops are an effective way of getting this challenge, as you can finish this in about 2-3 successful games of either. In PvP, healing, assists, vanquishes, reviving and so on help you a lot with this challenge, so make sure you do so! Also, it will help with your other challenges!

Deal 5,000 damage with the Goo Blaster.

This challenge is not difficult to obtain as Scientist’s primary weapon can deal a lot of damage if you can hit most or all of your shots. Doing this challenge against bosses will help even more as it is easier to him and they have more health. If using in PvP, try to get up close to opponents to dish out as much damage as possible or aim and fire your weapon at longer ranges to reduce the spread of your weapon and make it less likely for you to miss. Upgrades that can help with this challenge include “Precision” as your spread is further reduced while aiming and “Dolphin Blasting” as you can shoot quicker temporarily after vanquishing an opponent with your Goo Blaster!

Get 1,000 healing with the Healing Hose.

This challenge is also not difficult to complete or obtain. This upgrade is probably easier to obtain in PvP, unlike most other character challenges, however you could achieve this quite easily in skirmishes or in battle chests as well. Or if you are playing with a friend or in split-screen mode. Overhealth does count, so at the start of a Turf Takeover round (or another game mode) you can overheal all of your allies to make a decent amount of progress on the challenge. Upgrades that could help with this challenge include “Power Wash” as you get increased healing and range with the Healing Hose when aiming and “CPR” as the target you heal gets healed faster if they are at low health!

Get 20 Revives!

This challenge does not require you to achieve the revives in one match. The best modes to do this is in PvP (or battle chests could do the trick for you as well). Use your Warps to your advantage In a battle chest or PvP to close the distance between you and an ally. I wouldn’t suggest letting your allies get vanquished in PvP, but if they fall, you can take the incentive to try and revive them if possible. In battle chests however it’s fine, just wait for allies to fall and revive them. Upgrades that can help with this challenge include “Super Saviour” as you can jump and use all your abilities while reviving, or “Wormhole” as your Warps travel further, allowing you to close the distance towards a revive, especially if your target is far away!

10 Hero Vanquishes after Warping to Them!

For this challenge, you need to warp to an enemy hero (weeds, pots and bosses do not count for this challenge). Then you need to vanquish them within the next 2-3 seconds. As you have 3 warps, this challenge should not be hard. Doing this in Ops, Skirmishes or Battle Chests are probably your best bet. Try to weaken the opponent before you Warp in for your vanquish. If doing in PvP, try the same methods, however this could prove to be more difficult. Upgrades that can help with this challenge include “Materalise” as you gain 2 ammo whenever you Warp or “Wormhole” to close the distance!

Hope that helps you all!

Edit: Don't use the "Wormhole" upgrade for the last challenge because it is bugged and won't give you points towards that challenge if you have this upgrade equipped.
