Re: Sticker price shock

I'm no where close to that point but I had a theory someone may be able to confirm. People tend to buy the cheaper packs to fill up the sticker book, these guarantee a rare but that is all.

The best book filling pack I found was the 15K pack.  Very often it would give up to two super rare and occasionally special items.

Standard items listed in the stickerbook have no letter next to them. Trouble In Zombopolis items are listed by the letters TIZ. The Trials of Gnomus items are listed by the letters CP - whatever that means. FrontLine Fighters items are listed by the letters FLF. Rux items are listed under the RUX name. Finally, Infinity Time items are listed by the letters IT.

For the Trials Of Gnomus items, it's such a chore trying to earn all of them. To earn all of them will take at least 18 months to collect them all. No-one has the time, so I strongly suggest to the dev team to add some new sticker packs to the sticker shop, one pack containing the Set items - as well as legendary ones - and another pack containing the GW1 classic items. Put them at a price point higher than most other packs, and make the two packs time-limited.

It makes sense from a coin perspective, I'm just wondering if the overall lower average of Super Rare causes a build up later. If there were a lot of Super Rares that could only come one after another it would make sense that players only get 1-2 new stickers in each pack. (Opposed to EA is evil we want your $$$) This could even be true for the 35k pack and is just a result of there being too many Super Rares in the stickerbook. Again I won't be able to confirm this myself for quite awhile, I could be totally wrong, I just wanted to check with people in this position to see if their stickerbooks have a large amount of Super Rares missing. (Or perhaps that the one sticker they do get is common, uncommon, or rare.)

Unfortunately, there's no way for me to know the rarity levels of the stickers I don't have yet, I don't think.  I rolled through much of the sticker book last night.  What I'm missing is a handful of regular and TIZ stickers, and a whole bunch of FF and CP.  The grind for legendaries yielded almost all the TIZ, and the bulk of the regular stickers came from 35K packs.  I started in on the 15K pack 2-3 weeks ago and it quite handily filled in almost all the regulars.
