  • @EA_Arrenai Still no resolution. He still can't buy the game, I can't gift it to him, EA never calls him back when we submit a ticket, the ticket never shows up in his account after he submits it, he never has once gotten an email with the ticket number even though the web page says he will receive an email so he can easily view the ticket. I've tried gifting using multiple payment methods, he's tried buying using multiple payment methods, we've both used multiple browsers with cleared cache on multiple computers (3 of mine) i've let him use my payment on his account and pc, i've logged in as him on my pc and tried buying, we've both submitted multiple tickets that never get resolved but are all marked as resolved or closed, and all this has been going on since September 8. There are 5 pages of failed purchase attempts on his account and 3 pages of failed gift attempts on mine. This is a major issue that the company just pushes under the rug, an issue where a customer can't buy their game for over 2 1/2 months. This is the worst problem I've had to deal with on any gaming service simply because it should have been resolved in a couple of days and it has been 2.5 months with no resolution. The reps are always nice but it's simply the worst customer service in the world. Not one person in the company apparently has the technical skill to simply make it to where a customer can buy 1 particular game. 1 game...

  • @EA_Arrenai He just said he would talk to billing investigations about it and to have my friend contact support. So, I called support and had my friend on the other line. I said to support, do you want to talk to him yourself? He's on the other line. They didn't want to talk to him for whatever reason and said they would escalate the issue. I'd like to check on the status but chat lines and lines for phone calls are always a 1 hour wait. Too long.

    Hey there, @spacemanjupiter.

    As mentioned by John, it's your friend's account that appears to have an issue here, and as such, your friend will need to create the case themself as it may involve sensitive account and financial details that can't be shared with others. As you're not the account holder, and your friend didn't originate the case, that's why they weren't able to discuss it on the call with you.

    Please have your friend create a case at https://help.ea.com and they can reference your case number, and the response from John for context.
