That's a nice way to put it. I'm enjoying the game a lot more than I have in recent months, but it's fine if some players don't enjoy it the same way they did with GW2. The thing with that game is that despite all of its problems, I could still have a lot of fun with it. Like even with the busted Rose meta in the early days. But with BFN, it's weird but I think my standards are higher than before and I need the game to be near-perfect to enjoy it. 4 years can really change a person. Or maybe it's just because of the nature of the game and how there are only 21 classes, made worse by the bad hit detection. Maybe it's a mix of both haha.
