Then he went up at the update. I read somewhere that supposedly, all cards that were pay to aquire before being craftable, are going to stay 2000 and the rest that we get thru weekly event will drop to 1000 eventually.
2000 is alot you are right. I have to wait for a while to get more sparks, but I want to get Zombology teacher eventually...if I have to pay 8000 sparks...thats 2 legendary cards, which makes it a tough decision but if it's not going to drop in price, I guess one here and there will be how I do it

Well, interdimensional zombie is a 1/3 that will change itself into a 3 brain zombie that will change into a 3 brain zombie *if* it survives long enough to do it. Teleport is the only other 1 cost legendary zombies have. It's a great card, but also not the most effective on turn 1.

Now look at leprechaun, a 1 cost, 2/2 that immediately shuffles two 1 cost, draw three pots of gold in your hand; which not only makes immediately viable on turn one, but also gives you two of the strongest card draw abilities in the game whether it survives the round or not. It's a far more valuable card than both legendaries for half the crafting cost... ... Not really a bad deal.

I believe that. There are a few event cards that are definitely on par or better than many legendary.

And even as good as leprechaun is, didn't he used to shuffle four pots?

Speaking event cards, it doesn't matter to anyone now, but my suggestion for clique peas was straight up 2 sun from get go and done. Now they really nerfed it in the truest sense lol. I just wish I had saved recycling them cuz 8000 is two more legendary that I don't have...oh wells
  • No, Leprechaun Imp always shuffled 2 pots of gold. I remember that post when it came out, saying that it was completely garbage in comparison to Sow Magic Beans, because it shuffled the 4 4/4 beans that also draws you a card, while with the Imp you only have half the pots and a 2/2.

I crafted the Leprechaun Imp as soon as it became avaliable, and I must tell you my friend, that I do not regret it.

It is worth every single spark you invest on it.

It is a must-include in all my Brainy decks. 3 cards for just 1 brain is just too good.

I know, but I just don't have the sparks to buy it at 2k. Should drop to 1k sooner or later

It hasnt yet, and there have been plenty of other events that have made 1000 since. Just saying, there was somewhere I read that certain ones would stay 2000. I guess if kitchen sink or Zombology teacher go to 1000 and leprechaun is still 2000, I think it's safe to say that is the best

Yeah, shamrocket is at 1k now, and I'm guessing they came out at the same time. Intriguing. A bunch of guardian cards are also at 2k but I have no clue when they were released. Hopefully it drops because it would be annoying if it stayed at 2k. Here's the question: when did going viral come out? Because that one just dropped to 1k with the new update.

Before galactic garden came out I think. Or at least around then. Leprechaun was only made craftable when the set 2 expansion came out, and if you look at the event card pack you can see that unless that changed with colossal, leprechaun is only craftable event not available in the event packs...that's why I have been saying that it may not go down
  • As far as I know, Event cards have their own rarity. I mean, there are "Rare" and "Super-Rare" event cards. That's why some of them cost 1,000 sparks and why others cost 2,000.

Thats not the reason why. They are first available to craft at 2000 no matter what the event card. The only ones that are still 2000 and haven't dropped to 1000 sparks, are the ones that were only available for real coin before being craftable.
Like hippity hop garg and king of grill I believe. Kitchen sink and Zombology teacher. Leprechaun is in with this group, as will be transfiguration whenever it is available
