Most commonly encountered peashooter for me has been Toxic & Electric in PVP. I do see the other ones occasionally but some ppl don't even play the standard classes until they unlock a variant they like.

I've started to encounter several situations where the new rock pea can actually be more effective at close range than you might think at first glance. It has tons of health and a fairly decent impact damage.

The beauty of the Peashooter is that all the sub-classes are viable and situational at the same time. My favorite is the Toxic Pea, followed by the Agent Pea, however the Rock Pea kis great at defending on Suburbination provided you got a good Sunflower with you.
