Reasons why Rose is OP and how to balance her!
Rose is simply too strong in her current state.
Being able to deal 10 damage with a high rate of fire is already really strong but combining it with the ability to lock on to a target by aiming is just ridiculous in my opinion.
Not only that but she can also disable a player with two of her abilities, what makes a 1v1 really annoying if not impossible to win.
Her slow is strong and really good on it's own but also not allowing the enemy to use his abilities makes it one of the most overpowered things in the game right now!
There is almost no game atm where Rose is not one of the best performers in the end!
So my suggestions to make her balanced: (I don't want to nerf her drastically, these are simply sugestions and not all of these suggestions have to be implemented 1:1 or all at once!)
1. Reduce her damage in close quaters. I think Rose is supposed to be a Mid-Range-Class. So reducing her maximum damage will help define that role. The overall damage drop from let's say 6-7 up close to 2-4 at long range won't be as steep as let's say Imp's Damage model who is focused on CQ-engagements so they will feel really different.
OR: Reduce the rate-of-fire!
2. Allow enemys to cast abilities while they are slowed by Rose!
OR: Reduce the effect-time drastically!
3. Shorten the range for a potential-lock-on!
I think Rose has alot of potential and fits a unique role in the game, but at the moment her disables, damage and self-sustain are combined way too strong compared to others!
