Region Problem: Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2

I live in the United States and I'm playing Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 on PS4, but everytime I select Regions: Australia, South America, or Asia there's NEVER anyone within ANY of the game levels. Why is that? But, the screen shows there's over 100+ pings available meaning there should be a ton of players available. I feel I'm not reaching the full limits of this game. Is anyone else having this issue?

  • Those servers are usually pretty dry. East and west coast servers tend to be steady. I’m no expert but I thought ping only shows the latency you have with your internet connection. Even then it sets as you start the game up and can change while playing while the number stays the same.

dwooten77 is correct. Ping is a measure of latency that shows how long (in milliseconds) a signal takes to get to the server and back.
  • Except at certain times of day, or to avoid certain players, there is no reason to go outside of the US west or east servers if you live in the US.
