Exactly! I bet he is young, there is something about this new generation, not all of them, but i found a LOT more than my generation that LOVES hand holding and instant gratification. It's everywhere now, every genre of gaming has been watered down to appeal to the instant gratification generation. Look at games like EverQuest and then look at World of Warcraft, it's a perfect example of how an entire genre was dumbed down, and made to cater to people who prefer instant gratification and hand holding.

Firstly, im 26. I'd like to think im young, but not as young as you seem to belive.
This is the entire reason i asked for people to read before raging. People see the word 'micro transactions' and flip out.
Its not about instant gratification. Its about time over money. Do i have alot of time to play games? No. Am i willing to pay for the ability to speed my progression so i can enjoy a game alot more to the same degree that people who have alot of time do? Yes.
TBH i play alot of games in my spare time. Ive got this, Titanfall, over 200 games on steam, and have to devide my attention between them. May of these have time = unlocks mechanics, and i cant play them all. Last week i managed 6 hours on PvZ:GW, and that seemed like alot to me. I unlocked 1 new class varient that week (and thanks to RMG its or a class i dont even like to play).
All im thinking is that they could offer favorable trasaction rates for very small prices, and those funds can be chaneled into the creation of more 'free' content for the comunity. If you want an example of this, look at 'Warframe' on the PC.

Thank you wolf for saying EXACTLY what I was thinking when I plainly put no on my original post yet op replied trying to troll bait me into an arguement.

Well, this is obviously a touchy subject. Why not make the majority happy by having special weekend or holiday type events that give everyone who plays extra coins or bonus packs for completing certain objectives instead of bringing more money into it? There are many other games that do this!

Also, just becuase you disagree with me its no need to demean yourself by spouting rubbish to get some attention. Its nice to see that you read the new title. Its a pitty you didnt put any more thought into the topic.
Also, the game isnt play to win, so could never be pay to win. Vanilla varients of classes are just as good as any other.
Microstransactions are a plague! They are HUGELY frowned upon. You weren't prepared for pushback when you thought it was intelligent to start a post actually requesting microtransactions? You are either trolling as i suspect you are, or you are not very bright. I assure you i've no need for attention and you sir need to work on your grammar because it's awful!!!
I've zero need to put any further "thought into the topic" because it's very clear that it's troll baiting. Now... if you are quite done, we can put this little thread to rest, because i assure you, you will not find anyone here who agrees with your sentiment!
Oh, by the way, the game IS play to win, it's a competitive online shooter!!! Card packs unlock some very powerful upgrades, adding microtransactions WILL turn it into a pay to win title. I think it's cute you think the default characters are just as good as the variants though, it shows how little you know about the game.
Also you need to stop posting 3-4 times to my one post, it's very obvious you are trying to boost this thread with multiple replies. Use the edit button or get everything you need to say into ONE post. Do not spam to make your topic appear to be hot.

I can see that ive hit a sore point. If you need the belief that varients are better than the regular versions to apease your ego on your poor gameplay then thats up to you. Personally i find that i trounce most people using varients (exept maybe those frost ones. Yea there abit OP).
To be honest, you constant belief that im 'trolling' is getting rediculous. The fact that i desire something you dont seems to make me some sort of villain.
Also, while orginally i spell checked my posts to you, ive realised that your interests in the topic are now nill, and you've now desending into trying to bait me and insinuations to make the topic you disagree with appear to be 'Trollish' in an attempt to have it removed, so i no longer feel the need for such things.
Ive looked through your other posts, and you dont seem to be such a bad guy. So ill ask you to re-read the posts and replies weve had, and ask yourslef this. If i am as genuine as i say i am, are you proud of the way youve acted here? Or do you see your actions as one of the very trolls you seem to abhore.
