Request to Become a Moderator.

Hello, everyone.

Some of you may be familiar with the famous game Plants vs. Zombies. Of course, the PVZ (Plants vs. Zombies) games are not just the classic standard tower defense most people know. More specifically, the player against player mobile game, Plants vs. Zombies Heroes.

On October 18th, 2016, Plants vs. Zombies Heroes was released. Unfortunately, the game had their last big updates around 2020-2021 according to most sources. The date I send this is February 28th, 2024. For 3 years, the Plants vs. Zombies Heroes players have longed for an update, something big, something that sparked their interest. Most importantly, something that made this game relive its glory days.

Although the reason of why Plants vs. Zombies Heroes was no longer updated was not stated by EA directly, we can still do something about it. I, for one, would like to take part as a moderator for this game. I played this game for several years and still do now. I've seen countless things that make this game in need of someone who can keep it functional and enjoyable. These things could be the users who use unfair advantages, this could be the strange matchmaking at times, and this could be the fact that somethings are way too strong. The list goes on for quite a while, so I have come to the conclusion that if someone has to take responsibility for this game's big and minor situations. I don't want to change the game or make huge changes. I just want to add some things and fix some things that the PVZ Heroes community have issues with.

So, with the approval of EA, I ask for a moderating role to help this game become better than it has already been. This game has many active players despite the diminishing number of updates it receives to this day. I think that if EA is fine by it, I can help bring more people. One assumed reason for the no longer updates was because of financial reasons. The good thing about my idea is that bringing more players can give EA more chances to earn money. Seasonal discounts, good deals and so much more are key to getting money. Only issue is, how does one make these seasonal discounts or good deals without having an active staff or moderation. I think this idea can benefit everyone if it works. Of course, I don't expect a variety of abilities to have as a moderator, especially considering that EA has no clue about what I might do. What I do hope for is a starting role that can progressively increase as time goes on and trust and respect is earned.

I state the following now, aware of what I say. I will not abuse my privileges if given. I will give everyone an equal gaming experience. People who pay money will receive what they have requested. I will make sure hackers do not ruin the game by giving them punishments depending on how bad the situation was.

    I appreciate your assistance. I only have one confusion that is that I don't quite want a rank on this website. The link you gave me was to something different than what I assumed to be responded with. Of course, I do not want to act rude or mean. I am very appreciative with this response from you. I am especially glad you took time out of your day to reply. What I was hoping to get was steps on how to get a role that serves the purpose of moderating the EA game, Plants vs. Zombies Heroes. I am not sure if you wanted me to become a high ranking individual and then speak about further roles in this game, but I am just informing you because I am confused with the response. I can state what I want again just for further clarification:

    • A moderating job on the no longer updated game, Plants vs. Zombies Heroes and make it a more actively moderated game.
    • A job with not little-no pay until I become more advanced in my work.
    • A job that can moderate the players who use exploits to cheat.
    • A job that can add small but more things to the game that keeps players intrigued.

    I do not mind having to take a survey, job quiz, or anything along the lines of that to get this job. I just see this as a job I am very eager to work as. If you would like to email or message me, please contact me with a reply. I am open to more questions through those messages stated previously or just through this replying system. Once again, I am very glad a community manager could reach out to me. Thank you so much!

    Hello, everyone.

    So basically, I had a request and did not get the answer I was looking for. I asked to become a moderator of the game, "Plants vs. Zombies Heroes" and was met with a response on a completely different thing then what I asked for. I tried to respond to the EA community manager, but it's been several days since I posted that and haven't gotten a response from anyone.     Here is the response that I wrote after I was responded by the community manager. It can also be seen in the link above, but I will state it here, so it is easier to access.

    I would be very glad if I could get another response from EA with more clarification on how I can get to my goal. I am very eager to have a role in this game if it is possible. As I said above, I do not mind having to go through any process to get this role. Another thing I would like to state is that the community manger responded with a link for attainable ranks. This was what I was referring to when I said I didn't get the answer I was looking for. I absolutely show no disrespect to the EA community manager who responded, I believe they did not understand what I asked for and that is completely fine. That is why I am restating it just for further clarification. I appreciate the EA community manager very much and look forward to whoever may respond to this message.
