We have an update to share regarding this matter: Updating PVZ Garden Warfare 2 PC with EA anticheat.
I genuenly have no hope. This problems probably never gonna be solved...

We are aware of the recent issues being faced by some PvZ Garden Warfare 2 players, specifically impacting the multiplayer experience.

Keep in mind that it's a exploit that's also available in the other two PvZ Shooters on PC as well. Not just Garden Warfare 2 (despite GW2 being the main proponent of outcry)
This is unrelated to the ban situation. We're mainly looking at the ban situation, not other things. While we'd all like something like that, we probably won't. But a ban fix is possible.
Heard the recent news from the community, thank you very much for the server-side fix! Everyone is very grateful. (In case anyone doesn't know yet, banned accounts will still have Lv. 46 characters, but this is only until they join a public lobby, unbanning them, thus fixing the exploit.)
Now that the games are playable again, let's hope for more fixes that can address different ways malicious players attempt to ruin the multiplayer experience in the future, most notably lobby crashing and damage hacks. I'd imagine they might be more motivated now that their previous banning technique has been taken away.
Please fix it, and don't do waves of unbans, this kind of thing shouldn't exist on a game you're still selling for money.
Are there any official updates on the situation currently impacting the multiplayer game modes?
I understand defective products can end up being sold, but we would all appreciate it if support and/or compensation for a product that has been plagued for years with defects (i.e. illegitimate modification software) is given.
I believe no loyal customer deserves this type of treatment.
I just got banned on both of my accounts, can we please just unban people again
