Revive Assists

I’ve noticed that when you try to help revive someone while they’re already being revived, you get no credit on the leaderboard and not even any XP consolation. There should be revive assists or some sort of shared revive reward, so that even if you aren’t the person to initiate the reviving you have more incentive to help out.

Yep, there should be some sort of reward for shared revives for sure... and also a better rewards for healers/support in general. It has been a topic on here many times, healers and support get very little incentive or reward in this game and many think that this should change... heres hoping for the future 🤞🙂

  • I’ve noticed, in order to receive “credit” on a revive or anything else for that matter, you’re involvement needs to be decently noticeable so getting in on a revive already in progress won’t count for you unless it’s earlier on in the process.

The same goes for things like vanquish assists, credit for vanquishing an Ops Boss and so on- there is some sort of contribution threshold you need to meet before the game credits you for it.

@SockReverie  I totally understand that. Like shared vanquishes and assists, you should be rewarded towards contributing towards a revive. After all, it really helps the team when you revive someone and not enough people do it. There should be some reward given for doing so. 🙂

  • We've brought this up many times. You should get XP for helping revive. If you're wiling to stop and help in a team focused game like this, you need to be rewarded. There's a few things that need XP/more XP than they provide now and this is a crucial one.

I agree with that. Little amount of XP would be nice.
When I played GW2 as a healing class XP was always appreciated for revive.

@CapitanRoyon Yes & sadly BFN gives far less xp for support functions.

Assisting with revives doesn't just help the player you're reviving - it also helps the healer (or other character who started the revive) by speeding up the process & thereby lessening their vulnerability.
I think that deserves a reasonable amount of xp.
