The role for Rose is suppose to be crowd control. Meaning, it should be effective at mid to close range. As of now, she’s an all around character base on how far she can be and still effectively hit a target that's very far away due to how aggressive the auto lock on currently is.
I’m going to provide my own input on what was changed and what needs to be re-adjusted.
Rose received a few buffs post beta, the adjustments made were as followed:
- Damage increased
- Reduced stamina cost for Arcane blast when in Arcane Enigma form
- Rose Magic Thistles target-lock improvements. This allows the player to move the crosshair off of their target for up to 0.5s before they lose the lock.
- Rose now does regular damage to Mechs instead of blocked damage.
- Increased Default Rose damage from 9 to 10.5
- Increased Druid Rose damage from 4 to 5
- Decreased SubsequentDurationConsumption from 50 to 25 (Allows for maximum of 3 blasts)
**Highlighted adjustments that I believe need to be reviewed**
My input on what might help:
- Reduce damage to beta values for Default Rose
- Slight Fire rate reduction
(As of now, the Rose has a very impressive lock range where it can spam shots.)
- Reduce the homing aggressiveness of Thistle shots depending on range
(Not sure if this is possible, but it would be nice, thus making the rose still effective in close range combat. However, a very slight reduction on the aggressiveness even up-close needs to be done.)
- Reduce Arcane Enigma damage or decrease duration
- Slight increase on the reload time (if damage isn't nerfed)
