Sorry to tell you this, but you don't control what is meta and what is not.
The devs will release and modify cards IF they think it is required WHEN they think it is required and HOW they think it is required.
If they think that the game needs more removal/control cards they are going to release more removal/control cards. As simple as that.
It would actually be good to have a meta where you can play a dedicated control deck....

I sincerely hope not. Games where the other player refuses to play any actual Plants/Zombies, and just destroys your stuff turn after turn, until your hand is completely empty and his is completely full are really monotonous to play. If it becomes clear that that's the opponent's strategy, I just concede and let him have his win so we can both get on to fun games.
- Final mission should be where it does dmg according to the sacrificed zombies atk rather then just blow out any one plant. But i agree with the fact of the devs adding too many wipe out cards. They should add cards that prevent plants from getting destroyed by tricks . And have zombie environments played during their spawn phase instead of the trick phase since they arent considered tricks anyways
