@Blaceraptor I have a similar issue. I have accrued lots of progress on my Xbox One Console and would like to buy it on PC. I am still not quite sure if it will be worth it or not.
I do not think there is a way of doing cross-progression, where you can transfer progress to a different device. You will have to start again. That said, if you still want to play on PC, I have actually seen it a couple of times from Steam for 70% off.
