@spIash_damage Not been in TT for several days but I came across one last night in the weekly event & my impression was that it was pretty handy.
Hard to say for sure though, as I don't have it myself yet & I think Corn generally feels a lot better atm.

After playing with this upgrade the better part of the day, I’ll say I’m impressed with the implementation of the upgrade. The difference in with Shogun and without isn’t an advantage but more of a preference (like preferring Commando Corn over Party Corn in GW2 but both were great).
The upgrade could be reduced to 4 slots for all I care. Great, great upgrade for BA.

@spIash_damageI'd say you're right about the firing change being down to personal preference, but would've thought having the shield is a big help?
Will be interesting to see anyway, assuming I get to the end of the map! 🤣@PineapplePiano Though I'm looking forward to there being a new character, I'm quite nervous about the impact it's going to have. Glad plants at least got a legendary upgrade first, will have to hope it helps . . .

Final verdict: the upgrade just isn’t for me. I’ve put it on my #2 loadout but will only use it under extenuating circumstances (if I’m stuck on the 7th round of BA and my enemies only have non-melee characters to play against).
The shield isn’t worth it for me because the price is too high when the ROF is so slow.
