Been playing the new update for awhile and i have no idea why you think the game is more unbalanced when it's clearly not. Both plants and zombies are fun to play now and the Imp has no reason to be nerfed as all they really did was give him a health upgrade which he needed. Rose got nerfed to the point to where all she can really do is stay back and give support which is fine if you are going to make a character with auto aiming shots.
Regardless i am very pleased with this update
The corn needs to have his health boost removed. The imp needs his health boost removed, the rose needs a damage nerf still, and the chomper needs a buff.

Meh, I don't think Corn needed a buff, BUT, I don't think his health is what is making him too powerful, it's that he hits a lot harder from range now, when you add in fire corn, he's a beast.
Imp is fine, I even kill his mech fairly easily.
Rose should have had a dmg nerf, but I think they didn't want to over nerf. Still a little too early for me to tell on her.
Chomper is fine, in fact, Chomper is my favorite plant and I'm generally at or near the top in kills with him. I eat Mech's with this guy, seriously, Imp mechs up, I move around him and attack with really quick dmg too close for him to actually kill me. Chomp's beast-mode.
