Sound doesn’t play for me in PvZ 2

So a while back I was downloading an update for PVZ2 but there was an error when downloading so the game crashed. After a few try’s it finally downloaded but I noticed that the game sounds no longer play through my phone’s speaker but plays fine if I attach a Bluetooth speaker or headphones. Anyone know why this happened or how to fix it?
