Split Screen Quests???
Hello everyone, My understanding when I bought this game is that all modes were able to split screen. I bought this game for my daughter and her and I have been playing Backyard Battleground or wh...
I mean to be fair there is no "Quest Mode" or "Story Mode". So they weren't lying. And I understand why you can't do the quests with another person. Half of them are just "Walk here, press B on this".

Well to be fair, there is no "Multiplayer Mode" either, lol. They just call it a multiplayer portal. The lack of the word "Mode" doesn't mean that it isn't a mode in the game. It simply goes without saying. Multiplayer is a mode in the game, just as single player is a mode in the game. Just because they don't use the word "mode" in the wording within the game, doesn't mean it isn't a mode.
Fact remains, EA used wording to make split screen and couch co-op seem to be an all-inclusive aspect of the game. Hey I realize the quest experience might not be the coolest thing to you, or something you feel is just "Walk here press B", but to a little kid, the idea of playing a game together with her dad is what it was all about for her and for me. To a 6 year old, it's a big deal, even if I couldn't care less about it. lol.
Like I said, it's not huge deal...just a little disappointing.
but with all my griping about no quest mode in split screen, Nice job for even having split screen- co op at all and making it a near full experience...it's great and it's a lot more than what almost any other game offers in terms of a couch co-op experience. Kudos for allowing the experience with unique player accounts with all the unlocks, xp and progression that come with it.
As far as I'm concerned any split screen that doesn't have massive * black bars on either side of the screen is great split screen.
