[Steam] PvZ Garden Warfare 2 Deluxe Edition not launching

I bought this game on steam while it was on sale, and I can't even play the game. I am given the "Preparing Game..." prompt, and it just disappears without launching the game. It says I'm playing the...

Can someone from EA actually answers, pleeeeeaaaaase ? :3

Having the same problem. Not normal to encounter bugs at the moment you buy the game tho.

  EA App is on the C: drive (SSD), PvZ:GW2 is on the D: drive (internal HDD).
  Never affected It Takes Two for example btw, even if it is on an external slower HDD lol
  Figured out that I can't launch PvZ via Steam, but can via the anticheat .exe file (doesn't links to Steam so there's maybe a license breach here), and via EA app directly, and it seams to _sometimes_ links to Steam.
