Sticker Shop Changes

So recently Popcap made some changes with the sticker shop.

Now wondrous pack of greatness is also getting all of the items from zombopolis and frontline fighter packs including the legendary items.

Phenomenal packs apparently now give you breakfast brainz, toxic citron, nec rose and captain squauk. i opened one and i didn't get the nec rose. just gave me cosmetics and consumables. and no i didn't open the wrong pack.

Extrodinary packs now give you common, uncommon, and rare zombopolis and frontline fighter items.

So in total there are just 5 packs in the sticker shop including phenomenal packs and not including limited time packs. i think this change is very good. i don't have any pictures but it should be in the mailbox and the next time you load up the game.

    Add to that, if you happen to obtain all the characters and items from these packs, the packs will no longer be visible in the sticker shop. That only leaves the Minions Booster Pack as the only pack available.

    I'm so happy that they did this! It was a long time coming and I'm thankful that they consolidated the packs like they did.

    Also they increased the price of the extraordinary pack from 15,000 to 20,000 coins, but well worth the switch.

    Now I only need an update where I can get rid of/sell/trade stars for coins lol

    This is incredibly welcome news. Too bad it came just three days after I spent tons of money seeking commando corn >.< (and another small amount to unlock Breakfast Brainz and Toxic Citron, oh well.) Hopefully this will help reduce the sticker squeeze near the end of collecting. Plus it offers more reasonable prices for newer stickers. Now I have a little more incentive to spend money rather than hoarding it until the next discount promo.

    My shop is so simple now! I only have the reinforcements pack and the pots pack for the event! It will be gone tonight so only one pack in there now. 😃

    That's all I get is the Minions pack.  Kinda bummed since now if I have 200,000 coins to spend, it's going to take forever at 2000 per pack.  Might spend more time buying 2000 coin packs than playing.  I tend to use a lot of plants and grow bots, so this kinda sucks.

    Do what I do, when boss hunt comes around, buy as many hundreds of thousands of coins as you have to spare on the turret packs.  This gives me enough pots or bots to last until the next plant or zombie boss hunt.  The only downside is that you'll still need to buy minion packs to get spawnable weeds and zombies.

    For person who is looking for necRose and Pirates, toxic citron, breakfast brain...easy, buy character pack. Nice gesture from Popcap.

    For person who is looking for Frontline fighter legendary (Commando corn and Scallywag), good part is price reduce from 50K to 35K but you've to pay huge price for it since the probability was around 1/300 (15 million/50K). Huge money but if you diligent enough to collect the coins, you will get it eventually.

    But now probability is as hard as getting Iron Citron and computer scientist which is around 7/5,000 (1/714) !!!   

    So price reduce 30% but probability decrease by 50%. Ouch...

    So if Rux sell them, even for 1.5 - 2 million coins/piece, don't even think twice, grind and get it.

    Luckily I've all the character, but I can imagine new players will struggle hard with that, especially the one who already have one piece of FF.

    Here's a post I did before.

    Hey guys I decided to be a guinea pig again and try out the RNG since the pack update. And I am very pleased.

    But before we get to that a back story.

    I have 2 accounts as some people know, on my main profile I was rank 5276 and had a 6,000ish sticker book completion. I spent $130 of my money for 5,000,000 coins. Overall I unlocked 3 legendarys (1 Disco Chomper, 1 Iron Citron, 1 random hat). Thankfully with those 2 pieces I was able to unlock DC &amp; IC.
    I also purchased the last sticker for Computer Scientist from Rux from running countless games of Turf Takover and Suburbanation.

    And now tonight I decided to try it again on my other profile. Same scenario sorta $130 for 5,000,000 coins again. Rank was similar at 5188 with a 4,1xx sticker book completion.

    I got 9 legendarys, (3 of which was 1 piece of Scalliwag Imp, 1 piece of Commando Corn, and lastly 1 piece of Toxic Brains unlocking TB) the other 6 legendarys were hats. I also unlocked 4 items that were labeled at Special.

    So yeah this new update had to change the RNG because I'm finally getting nice stuff. (Still would prefer character pieces over customizations but 🤷🏻‍♂️)
