The Trial of Hot Doom is one of the most difficult Trials and it was my first one to unlock.
It took me 90 minutes of constant repeating play through before I cracked it.
Suggestions can only go so far because ultimately it's all up to you and your ability to time your jumps properly.
I personally used a Rose with a Speed Upgrade but an Imp should also give you similar distance and hang time, which can be important.
It's all timing and pattern recognition, you need to figure out exactly when to jump so that you land with enough time to jump again without being burned. For the Rose that turned out to be triggering the jump just as the place you want to land is just about to be, or is, hot enough to kill you. For other characters the timing will likely be different so use the first section to figure out your timing.
With a Rose for the first one or two sections you can simply pick a lane and do timed jumps straight down to the safe area, but on the sections which come after you will need to jump and change lanes each time so that the timing of your landing allows you to jump off again before you get burned.
So what I did was use the first section or two to perfect the timing of the jumps and then on the ones that came after I had to study the pattern of hot spots coming at you and then experiment with the necessary distance each jump needed to be and which lane I needed to land in to be safe. This meant doing some runs where I wasn't concerned about the timer and there were plenty of repeated runs where I just needed to figure out that one next jump in the sequence so by the time I was able to finish it I could practically dance through the sections with my eyes closed I had done them so many times.
It's doable, but is not easy and it will only get more difficult if you let the timer freak you out with the pressure to go fast; pick one character whose jump you are comfortable with, break the run down into pieces and just look ahead to figuring out the next jump you need to make and make sure you take a break when you get too frustrated.

Thank you, I had talked to a customer rep today and felt I was being talked down to and not understood. You actually helped me see that it can be doable and that I'm not useless, thank you for taking the time to mention the tips 🙂
- It's an honestly difficult challenge; try to remember that the majority of videos you see online doing this one are likely posted by people who, like me, wound up doing it a crazy amount of times before they invited anybody to watch them play through.
I made the mistake of switching characters a bit often early on trying to figure it out and that's a bit of a mistake because you have to almost start the learning process completely over because many of the characters have completely different jumping characteristics. I finally stuck with the Rose because I was most comfortable with her jump on this challenge and she has good jumping distance and a nice gentle speed which I found easier to guide onto the platforms.
It's tough and unforgiving but it can be accomplished with practice and determination.
It's hard, but doable.
I made it with imp after I think 50 tries more or less. I found the agility trial the hardest, also made with imp after at least 100 tries (probably more)
The red one is crackable with a bit of luck: the first 2 stage are really easy to master. The third needs a little praticte and the last one... you cad do it by feel, after some tries probably you will doThank you so so much, I've done like 200 tries now, I'm finally seeing progress. 7/10 I can make it past first 2, now it's getting used to the 3rd, so hopefully I'll have done it in a few days, I will definately post when I'm successful, ty again
- A quick hint if you happen to be using a Rose character with Speed Boost like I did; when you make it to the last section you can get through it easily with timed jumps if you go straight down the lane on the right side. I found it super easy for what should have been the hardest section.
