Suggestion: Hide Rank Option
I really dislike the rank feature, and personally would like the option to hide my rank to everyone else.
Wh not give people the option to hide it from others online? What could possibly be wrong ...

I'd say No. Never really given it too much thought though. If I stay in a lobby I usually have a quick look, mainly to see if there are any really huge numbers. I'm always amazed at how quickly people level up. I myself am a plodder, dont care about people below or above me - its all pretty relative though.
What I really wish is that they would add a bit of variety in the ranking badges, mostly all the same colour with limited variety in symbols - its all a bit plain. Even from the Beta I was hoping it would be really vibrant.
Well if you haven't given it much thought it means you probably don't care, so what difference will it make if someone else hides their rank? That was my point.
Meh, I don't see why promotion was a thing anyway. They probably only implemented it to stop someone botting more than 10 levels.
It's one of those things you don't notice, but definitely would if it were missing. And then you would start to wonder, what is this person trying to hide????
To me, it's fine as-is.

Wow why so angry. Did you or did you not invite people to respond. Am I or am I not allowed to express my opinion. You asked for yes or no - I said no, build a bridge and get over it. Must remember to ask for your permission beforehand next time.

Text is easily misunderstood, I'm not angry or bothered if you have a difference of opinion...what I mean is, if you didn't understand, if you haven't given it much thought then what difference would it make to you? Wouldn't you be indifferent either way? It wouldn't bother you, either way. I can't word it any better. I feel like I've said the same thing four times now.
Lets assume you max rank today, do you want everyone to see your rank? I'd rather mine be hidden 🙂
I'm at 1152 now and well I went online earlier and the highest anyone else was, was only 3-500. As pointless as it may be, I don't like being higher ranked than others, I feel silly? I joined as the game ended, I had a score of 0 and well, I quit.

Again wow, didn't want to get into a slanging match with you friend, but you do realize that you're saying one thing and doing the exact opposite. Your first statement is reconcilitory, and then you straight away lay the boot in. Again "saying the same thing four times" really do you have some sort of inferiority complex, or a need to win. I responded to your post because I can, and because I like to contribute to these forums. These forums are not meant to be confontational (no matter how much you attempt to make them).
