Remove the lightning chain effect from electro brainz laser. To be honest superbrainz laser should be weak in general i understand why they gave it to him but if the chomper doesn't have a long range laser that he can spam then neither should another melee based class like super brainz.
Remove the slowdown from his spin tornado. Once you're caught in it you are basically dead and can't even escape. not even the pea's hyper speed or the corn's husk hop can get out of it and it even hits you while in mid air if you try to jump out of it. Citron has a hard time escape too with the turbo effect in his ball form but he's really the only one that can get out of it using that.
Those are the two major things that need nerfing when it comes to super brainz. Aside from that i think he's fine. Funny enough the most underpowered character in the game which is the chomper is the main one that can counter superbrainz. They try that tornado move on you? just puke a spikeweed and you can eat them and it's dangerous in general to be so up close to a chomper so it can be very hard for super brainz to stay in close against one.
Spikeweed sometimes gets destroyed by the Twister first. They lowered the armour he got and increased the speed, and in my opinion that makes it even worse to escape from now.
They should remove the armour completely and keep the speed, or lower the speed and lower the armour some more.
Thought so, well that's why we're having different experiences. There's probably a lot more Sunflower/Cactus players on the PC and that's why you're not seeing Brainz as a problem. Over on the console where aiming is a bit more difficult, everyone is playing this guy and even if a few of them drop, there's more of them that swarm in...that coupled with Mechs and Scientists, it makes things rather unfair.
Its fine to be annoyed at the game man, but IronCatFish is a cool dude, don't think he's a squeaker and well he's not phased he's just laughing. Vent your frustration out on valid points but not at people, he is not insulting you 🙂
Twister has low DPS and can be countered or nullified by almost every plant. Why does it need a nerf? Its not like goop or a stun grenade that locks abilities while he is hitting you with it. The only problem with the Twister is that he continues to spin and inflict damage when he is being eaten by a Chomper or frozen by an ice shroom. I think this is a design problem though like a solider ZPGing a chomper that is about to swallow it.
To be clear, I'm talking about all variants of that super brainz character.
And ironcatfish, have you actually tried to stop someone using twister as a pea? Please try it and come back and tell me it's fair. And it only takes 2 seconds to kill a pea with that twister technique. Let me ask you something, did you ever Play part 1?
And honestly I just experienced some major hit detection issues. Wow this game is actually broken.
