I haven't get a chance to play, what do you think who has the upper hand?I guess it will depend on the situation:1. close distance for sure the pea will win since it has a very fast trigger2. long distance soldier will win (sniper)3. medium distance is where the fun starts.

I think this mode is hilarious. There are a lot of people complaining about how unfair it is but I haven’t seen that to be the case. If you get frustrated easily, this is not the mode for you. Players don’t seem to be running into stink clouds as easy as last time. I agree that medium distance is the bang zone. Long distance has gone 50/50 with the few lobbies I played in. Couple of recommendations, if you don’t have the super stink cloud, switch to it. As far as bean bombs I’ve switched to the dark bean bomb. One to launch me close to the circle, then one to drop in it. Sombrero still works well considering someone can cross half the level by the time it explodes.

I played a little bit on both sides, subordination with 1 health, super speed and explosion when got killed. It is a lot of fun.First as pea shooter:1. Find a hidden place when you can do pea gattling without zombie notice you and have a party there.2. Release dark bean bomb, time it right, let them fly high to the sky.3. When you're in open space, make sure use hyperspeed ability to avoid being an easy target.Second as soldier1. The sniper ability was a blast, I sniped left and right from far distance when they don't even realize it.2. Smoke is acting like an instant bomb or death wall that they can't penetrate.3. ZPG to base/crowd from a distance for guarantee kill.I think it's a balanced if both teams has good players on both side.It also an easy way to level up for sure, unfortunately already master for both of them.

I think the determining factor is which team has more players. But as for which side has it easier, I would say the Camoranger. Not just for his stink cloud but because his primary weapon is easier to land hits with. I think the peashooters's shots are slower and less accurate than the Camoranger's. One game on Frozen Creek had 6 peashooters vs 4 camos and the peashooters were winning(not without a fight). So out of frustration I decided to just run around and just be a pest to the other team instead of playing the objective. Turns out it was a good idea because i distracted them long enough to allow my team to capture the points. Then more players arrived, outnumbering the peashooters and turning the loss into a victory. But that might just be me. I'm on PC by the way.

I've got to agree with @Superjesse124 about the stink clouds. If health was normal then maybe the super cloud would be a better choice.

I sure wish my fingers could figure out how to exploit the bean bombs as @dwooten77 describes. I've never been (bean?) able to get it down.

I have not yet played a round but am pretty sure I will hate it. Fortunately I banked 50 stars last week.

The trick of using dark bean bomb is to hide, peek and predict somebody is coming around the corner, then drop the bomb without them seeing coming.
By the time they realize, it's too late, fly to the sky! Timing and element of surprise is the key.
When zombies has super speed, they tend to be:
1. careless (since they're not worry about long and slow walk any more after they die)
2. less time to process the surrounding so prone to miss a lot of things they normally see.

No, he's talking about a different technique altogether. You can travel extreme distances by jumping and putting out the bean bomb with the right timing and combination of buttons. Even see a peashooter WAAAAY up high in multiplayer and wonder how they got there? That's how.

Also the multi-rocket (which I use normally anyway) is also great for this event. I got a mulit-vanquish on a control point when I barely saw any of the pea shooters at long range. The huge AoE compared to the regular rocket is excellent for low health targets like this event.

I never have gotten this to work! I really want to get a pea shooter to the treehouse via this technique but I just can't get there. I may have to practice it more and try again.
