@benn1nat0r Hello, damage from shockwave for this ability was removed from the May update: https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Battle-for-Neighborville-May-26-Patch-Notes/m-p/9142115

@anpangcontractor Hello! I know shockwave damage has been removed from Super Sap Trap. It still sometimes doesn't work even if it is attached to a zombie. In addition to this, the ability is completely useless without this type of damage, because they haven't increased the normal damage radius. Sap Trap can land just a few millimeters away from a zombie and still not deal any damage. I believe this is not working as intended (as it even doesn't work when attached to a zombie), and if it is, it shouldn't be this way.

Hello there again, @anpangcontractor 🙂!
I hope your having a great day.
I just quickly wanted to reply to my report again and share this with you. I made a post about this in General Discussion, and there are others who also experience problems using (Super) Sap Trap. While I think shockwave damage should be re-added to make the ability better, this was an intentional decision made by the team. There are, however, also issues that are clearly not intended. Others also report that Super Sap Trap doesn't deal damage even if attached to a zombie. There are also reports of Sap Trap not detonating (which happens to me as well).
So I kindly ask you to report this to team. Even if they don't change their point of view on shockwave damage, they need to fix the other issues we reported here:
Thank you for reading this! (Please reply if this has been reported to the team. Thanks!)

@benn1nat0r Hi, please provide footage of the ability not dealing damage when attached on to someone if possible.
For me, damage was successfully applied in all instances to my target in public matches when I have the super sap track attached on to a zombie in 20 attempts. This was done with a mix of standing still, walking, sprinting, jumping. The only instances that did not apply damage were when the zombie used a movement ability such as sprint tackle and warp, or when the super sap trap got destroyed.

@anpangcontractor I will try my best to provide some footage. I had problems trying to get videos to work on the forum in the past and I don't want to create a YouTube channel just for this. I also do not think I ever recorded this happening. I'll ask the other community members in my thread if they have some footage.
Super Sap Trap (not the little sap trap) not dealing damage when attached to a target is a rare bug. I play as Oak a lot, so I encountered it a few times.
My answer to "How often does this issue occur?" was referring to Super Sap Trap not dealing damage when very close to a zombie. In my experience, the little Sap Trap does deal damage when detonated just a few centimeters away, but Super Sap Trap doesn't.
I think this should be changed, regardless if it is a bug or not.
Thank you for testing this. Maybe some one else will be able to replicate it and record it. Maybe I'll succeed in replicating the issue. When this happens, I will reply to this bug report.
